The Wedding Singer (Advanced Musical Theatre)

The Wedding Singer takes us back to a time when hair was big, greed was good, collars were up, and a wedding singer might just be the coolest guy in the room. Based on the hit Adam Sandler movie, The Wedding Singer's sparkling new score does for the '80s what Hairspray did for the '60s. Just say yes to the most romantic musical in 20 years.
Designed for advanced-level performers, Advanced Musical Theatre (AMT) is by audition only. Campers will study The Wedding Singer in depth and give a performance at the end of the session. AMT Camp meets at Roosevelt Middle School, from 8:45am to 2:45pm. To audition, students will prepare a one-minute song and bring their sheet music.
Auditions are April 27, 28, 29, concurrent with auditions for the summer production of Charlotte's Web and All Shook Up. The last day of camp is July 2.

Originally produced by Margo Lion, New Line Cinema, The Araca Group, Roy Furman, Douglas L. Meyer, James D. Stern, Rick Steiner, The Staton, Bell, Osher, Mayerson Group, and JAM Theatricals.
